Logica in the Philippines

Established in the Philippines since 1996, Logica initially produced and serviced solutions for various banks and telecom companies before beginning its global delivery operations in 2007. Over the following two years, the Philippines operations exceeded growth targets, expanding to another location within the metropolis.

The small team that initially supported the human capital services (HCS) requirements for Logica’s European Headquarters, grew into operation that today employs over 550+ employees servicing a number of clients in the banking, telecoms, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.

Logica Philippines currently offers services in both IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). These include ERP - SAP Services, Enterprise Content Management, and Web Based Technologies for IT services. Our BPO expertise includes Data Transformation, Financial Back Office, Programme Management Office, and Human Resource Management.

Our Philippines business serves clients primarily located in Europe, using Logica’s blended delivery model to provide the best combination of onshore and offshore resources to meet the needs of each contract.

Our rapid growth and diverse services have gained recognition in the Philippines and in 2008 the business was recognised as “Best new BPO locator of the year” in the International ICT Awards.

The Philippines is already certified in ISO27001:2005 the international standard for information security management systems and also ISO9001:2000 for quality management systems. Currently, we are working to achieve Capability Maturity Model (CMMi) level 3 and implement ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 and IiP for year 2009, along with Six Sigma certifications.
