Monitoring and control systems

Eutelsat's fleet of over 20 satellites are controlled by our systems. We have significant capabilities in SCOS-2000, ESA's missions control system kernel, and have applied this to many ESA missions including ERS and XMM-Newton.

We also have significant experience in spacecraft flight dynamics and orbital mechanics, proven over many years supporting spacecraft operations at ESA's ESOC control centre.

Logica were Prime Contractor for the safety-critical Ariane launch range safety system (project name SCTV) which has been fully operational in Kourou since 2001. Our client for this €10m project was the French Space Agency (CNES).
