Logica and LANIT partner to deliver IT outsourcing services to Russian market
Logica, a leading IT and business services company, today announced an agreement with leading Russian IT integration and services company, LANIT to deliver IT outsourcing services to Logica’s Russian based customers and to support LANIT’s Russian customers looking to expand into Europe. Through this partnership, both companies will combine their skills and services to serve more customers across a broader geographical base, and provide a more cost-effective and integrated approach to their IT services.
Logica wants to integrate and standardise its Russian customers’ IT-services, in line with its customer’s global requirements. In addition, the current economic environment is accelerating customer’s requirements to make their IT services more flexible and cost-effective.
LANIT is among the top three IT services companies in Russia, with a broad base of service centres across the country. LANIT has the capability to serve European companies in Russia related to their local needs. Similarly, Logica can serve LANIT’s Russian based customers that are extending their operations into Europe through its European network.
The scope of services will initially involve outsourcing of server hosting, networks, desktop management including helpdesk services and application management, with plans to include more services, based on customer needs.
