Logica Hygieia assists people in maintaining their health by means of medicine reminders, diet intake, and exercise schedule. It helps monitoring of vital body parameters in real time, thereby providing timely feedback, detecting critical conditions and alerting facility.

The platform tries to integrate healthcare, patients, and medical devices and creates a common platform where all can communicate seamlessly. It consists of following components:

Logica Home Gateway - The Home Gateway is an easy to use, touch-screen based unit that can reside anywhere in your home. It can connect wirelessly to multiple medical devices, and send information wirelessly to the Logica Hygieia servers. The Home Gateway is a single point of contact for the entire family with built-in features such as video calling, Bluetooth connectivity and cellular connectivity. The Logica Home Gateway can also send the information to your mobile phone, web or any other interface that you may use.

Hygieia Server - The Hygieia Server is the heart of the solution. It contains an engine to process a doctor’s prescription, a planner and the patient’s responses, along with maintaining a knowledge base. The server also has the facility of adding adaptors, allowing it to work with an existing healthcare system network.

Using these components, Hygieia tries to build an eco system where people are connected to healthcare at homes or on the move.
