Logica Hygieia is a preventive health care offering that assists people with maintaining their health by means of medicine reminders, diet intake, and exercise schedule. It helps monitoring of vital body parameters in real time, thereby providing timely feedback, detecting critical conditions and alerting facility.

Can Logica Hygieia assist me in taking prescribed medicines?

Yes. Logica Hygieia can give timely reminders about taking medicine. It tells you which medicine to take, when to take and it’s potency. It also maintains a history of your medicine intake, thereby providing an 180⁰ feedback on your performance vis-a-vis the doctor's prescription.

Logica Hygieia collects vital parameters like blood glucose, pulse measurement, and body temperature through medical devices and banks all the data in the Hygieia server. You can view your past historical data and see your performance and improvements. It will also remind you to take your tests.

I am an elderly patient with heart risk. Can Logica Hygieia help me?

Logica Hygieia, through the use of external medical device, will time keep track of things in real time, such as pulse rate and ECG readings. These vital signs will seamlessly be transfered to the Logica Home Gateway. Hygieia will continuously monitor for these vital signs. In case of a critical condition it will alert the patients' friends, family and healthcare staff.

What does Logica Hygieia give me that other solutions don’t?

Logica Hygieia tries to build a common platform where healthcare givers, medical devices, and patients can interact seamlessly. It tries to motivate people to take care of their health more proactively.

Is my privacy at stake when I use Logica Hygieia?

Yes. Logica Hygieia is also integrated with the mobile phone, so you can access information on the move.

Can I get the alert when I am not at home?

Yes. The Logica Home Gateway can send alerts on mobile phones as well.

Can the solution be integrated with pharmacy?

Yes. The solution can be integrated with pharmacy so that medical supplies can be ordered from the Logica Home Gateway when stock runs out at home.

Can the Home Gateway connect me to the Doctor. in emergency?

Yes. Through the Home Gateway, patients will be able to make call and talk to health professionals.

Medical Devices

Which medical devices can I use with Logica Hygieia?

There are a number of external medical devices like Oximeter, Glucose Meter, Blood pressure meter, ECG meter etc. They are all portable devices, easy to carry and use. Logica connects to any of these devices wirelessly and can transfer the data from device to Hygieia client. For a list of supported devices please contact us.

Can I use any wireless device?

No. Since the device needs to be first integrated and tested with Logica Hygieia, please contact us to find out if the device is supported. 

Are only wireless medical devices supported?

No. In case no wireless transmission capability exists in medical devices, the readings can be manually entered into Hygieia through the client application.
