2009 Winners
The Global Winner of the GIVP Programme 2009 was Swedish innovation company Appear Networks.
Appear competed with seven other country winners to become the global winner. It won the recognition for its context-aware mobile technology. The technology changes the way information is delivered, received and presented on mobile devices as it analyses each user’s situation (context) and determines what information, applications and services the user needs. This technology was selected because it has a myriad of possibilities for our varied base of customers and can enable them to deliver better customer service, develop new business and revenue models as well as enhance the overall customer experience.
Appear the global winner will now embark on a collaboratively working relationship with Logica to bring innovation to the door steps of our customers through a joint go-to-market strategy, targeting Logica’s blue-chip customer base across the world.
The GIVP programme also identified great innovation partners as country winners. They will work with the local Logica teams to further develop their solutions and then market the solution in the region and to Logica’s customers in that country.
