Logica chosen by SJ, the main train operator in Sweden for Application Management
Logica, a leading IT and business services company, today announced its partnership with SJ, the Swedish passenger rail service company to develop and manage 32 applications and systems within SJ’s operations, worth €8.6m over a five year period. As SJ looks to become more cost efficient and quality driven, Logica becomes the main partner within the company’s Application Management environment.
Logica will manage the project using its blended delivery model, utilizing the right resources and locations from its global network, ensuring SJ will benefit from a cost effective, secure and flexible service. The scope of work covers the management of applications and systems supporting finance, sales and production including both internal and external websites, among them www.sj.se which is one of Sweden’s most visited external websites.
