Logica FutureScope - winners revealed and factsheet now available

Everyone has an opinion on cloud. But opinions differ. So we decided to use Logica FutureScope to approach our cloud and client market to find out exactly what those opinions are. Over a six-week period from 10 October 2011, we posted 24 statements – all about cloud. We had 268 Logica FutureScope members participating, with 2886 views shared and 402 ‘Comments’ written on the site on topics ranging from government cloud, to streaming music online, to cloud security concerns. And we’re itching to share the results with you.

Factsheet
We have analysed the market trades and comments and a range in interesting insight has been found. Are your views on cloud the same as others? Find out by downloading the results factsheet here.

Some of the interesting findings include:

  • Agreement that the ability to utilise large amounts of capacity is a key benefit of cloud services
  • Early adoption of cloud may not actually be essential in order to deliver the demands from consumers.

Winners
The 3 members who finished on the top of the leader board at the end of the campaign have chosen charities to receive a donation from Logica. After many trades and comments, we can confirm that the winners are:

Position Name Charity chosen Amount
1 Lloyd Brammer Unicef £500
2 Lars Nistad Instituto EDP Energias do Brazil £300
3 Epke Habraken Mothers Love Welfare Society £200

Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to everyone who has taken part. Your views are helping the way we do future business.
