Cloud is no longer just about reducing costs and increasing agility for our clients. It’s about that, but also much more – it helps clients to engage better with their employees; partners and suppliers; and their customers.
The cloud opens up opportunities to collaborate and connect quickly and more easily. Leading asset management organisation Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM) wanted to improve productivity and provide real-time information about clients as well as commercial and financial information. Using a cloud-based service from Salesforce.com, Logica helped NGAM merge four applications into just one user-friendly collaborative cloud platform solution which covers CRM but also automates commercial and financial back office processes. And all in just five months, meaning that users in all countries can now access the solution from a range of mobile devices, safe in the knowledge that they are meeting the data privacy regulations in each country. As a result, NGAM now has a 360-degree view of clients and has improved sharing, collaboration and business monitoring.
We also recognise that clients have very specific requirements with solutions tailored to their industry. One example of this is for the oil and gas industry where our ‘License2Share’ offering demonstrates how powerful shared knowledge can be. Our ‘2Share’cloud service allows users to access solutions that are tailored to their specific information sharing needs.
Our ecosystem continues to develop with a variety of partners, including Salesforce.com, Google, Oracle and SAP. We have also continued to strengthen our partnership with Microsoft with agreements regarding Business Intelligence. We are currently building a community cloud together, helping to promote sharing and collaboration among like-minded companies. We have developed an innovative solution with IBOR, which is a Microsoft Azure cloud-based service providing energy as well as cost savings in areas like street lighting.
