TRE-FOR outsources customer services and billing to Logica
Logica, one of the world’s leading business and technology service companies, today announced that it has been selected by Danish multi-utility company TRE-FOR to provide outsourcing services for its customer service and billing functions.
Logica will redesign and upgrade TRE-FOR’s existing customer relationship management and billing systems to improve information sharing across the organisation’s business units. As part of the agreement, TRE-FOR’s customer service and billing team of 50 employees will transfer from Kolding to Logica’s customer centre in Aarhus on 1 May 2012.

To ensure cooperation between the customer service and business teams at TRE-FOR, a department has been established to oversee operations between the two units. The division will coordinate interaction and ensure knowledge sharing across the various functions. Other TRE-FOR business units will not be affected by the move.

And we are aware that it will bring a significant change for those employees who will have their work location moved to the city of Kolding to Aarhus”, said Mr Larsen. “However, when considering quality of service and the financial facts, this is the right step for us. Competition today is fierce and we cannot disregard the impact on profitability this change will have for us. At the same time, it allows us to boost the level of satisfaction for our customers, so in my opinion we are obliged to think innovatively,” he said.
