José Quádrio Alves is the Global SAP Practice leader for LOGICA, a Practice with more than 3.500 consultants in Europe, Asia and the Americas. While leading this Practice his main priorities are bringing innovation and business value to clients across different geographies.

While at LOGICA Portugal he was responsible for developing the Industry, Distribution and Transportation Sector, for the Management Consulting business and later for the SAP Relationship and the SAP consulting business. Having participated in the Global SAP Practice board as a member, he was invited to lead this business globally in late 2009.

Started his professional life as an electronics engineer, developed his business solutions expertise as a consultant and later as a consulting principal at IBM where he started the SAP Practice in Portugal in the 90’s, developing a successful business with major projects and shared experience and skills at the international level.

Holding a University Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a post graduation in International Business he taught some courses in Information Systems both at Portucalense University and European University as an invited professor.
