Since its inception in 1912, Pomona, a food transport company, has known how to diversify its activities and capture opportunities in new markets, particularly via an external growth strategy.

Challenges

As Pomona grew over the years, so did the complexity of their organisation and the diversity of the computer applications. Faced with an increasing volume of information that was being collected and processed, it became important to automate and manage data collection and analysis.

It is with this in view that Pomona decided to adopt SAP NetWeaver Identity Management. It would allow them to centralise and automate the lifecycle management of all enterprise users, while managing different levels of access rights so that the right users have access to the right systems at the right time. The SAP solution would replace a competitor’s identity management system, and Pomona looked forward to enjoying the features of the new SAP solution.

These connectors:
