Sustainable Supply Chain
Looking down the line
Sustainability has a major impact on your entire supply chain.
Rising energy prices, fuel or raw material shortages, changes in the law and even natural disasters can have a ripple effect, adding costs or delays along the whole line.
Being able to withstand and bounce back from these kinds of risks gives you a serious competitive advantage. But there is no 'one size fits all' answer.
We work with our clients to assess the unique risks to their organisation - not just from their own shipping and transport, but their suppliers, and their suppliers’ suppliers.
First, we look for 'hot spots' that leave them exposed to rising costs in energy or raw materials. Then we look for ways to protect them against these outside forces, so that they become more resilient. For example, we're designing a sustainability strategy with a telecoms company right now.
In the public sector we've helped to develop a sustainability certification system for suppliers. We've also worked with a European association to carry out an extensive review of current laws across the entire supply chain.
By working with governments and businesses across every sector we can help everyone reap the financial and environmental rewards.
