The solution, in turn, facilitates Differential Fuel Pricing – a unique concept coined by us. This means, you pay more or less for fuel, based on your vehicle’s carbon footprint. Logica EMO captures a vehicle’s carbon footprint via a simple plug-in device fit in the vehicle. It then wirelessly and securely transmits the data in real-time to the backend.
The Logica EMO data is also available in a central emissions database that can be used by various stakeholders such as vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies, oil companies and regulatory bodies.
