Logica and Banking Technology – The SEPA end date debate

Logica joined forces with Banking Technology to host a round-table to discuss the widely anticipated, migration towards pan-European SEPA - Credit Transfer and Direct Debit instruments. Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and BNY Mellon also joined the discussion.

Our view?
Jean Pierre Arens, Sales Director for Logica’s Global Product Business mentioned that for both financial institutions and corporate customers, there should be no hesitation.

"If you don't know where you're going, every road will lead to it….There is still a lot of hesitation around. If you want to be a winner, you can't wait. Now is when you should be setting your strategy, updating your systems and planning your services. If you wait for a year of lobbying or think an end date won't be enforced, you will lose."
