Logica at MESA's International Plant to Enterprise Conference
Logica will have an exhibition stand at the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association’s (MESA) International Plant to Enterprise (P2E) conference in Orlando, Florida from the 21st – 23rd September 2008. Jan Snoeij, principal consultant at Logica, will present on “Plant Floor Visibility and MES Product Selection” in a session on Monday 22 September from 11.-11.45 where he will talk through the findings of the ninth Logica Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) product survey.
The annual survey provides an overview of MES products as well as an insight into the latest trends within this expanding market. This year’s report shows a marked growth in the application of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in (parts of) vendors’ solutions. It increased from 46 per cent last year to 67 per cent in 2008 and is expected to grow to about 71 per cent next year. Premium MESA members attending the conference will receive a complimentary copy of the survey.
