Work and asset management

Work and asset management (WAM) is the largest component of enterprise asset management (EAM). WAM includes a wide range of activities for the management of assets throughout their lifecycle, from planning of construction to defining maintenance regimes and work management. Effective WAM saves cost and delivers improved performance.

Logica has completed hundreds of WAM implementations over our forty-year history, deploying both our own and third party products. Our Asset and Resource Management (ARM) product suite has been expanded to cover mobile and real-time applications and, for example for major US utilities, supports their future strategy.  of. Our experience is wide ranging and detailed, particularly in the most asset-intensive sectors - transport, utilities and telecoms. In telecoms, Logica is the leading integrator of inventory management systems for tier 1 European operators.

The growing effectiveness of WAM systems stems from effective integration with mobile, geospatial and real-time technologies, as well as with reliable, finely-tuned data in the underlying asset registers.
